I used to love coloring Easter eggs as a kid and I still enjoy spending Easter with my nephews. So, I’ve grabbed a few recommendations and tricks through the years that I feel like sharing. If you had downside to your egg coloring this season, here are some ideas that can make next Easter easier.
First of most, filling plastic eggs with goodies is simpler and much more convenient. In fact, I had to do it in 2010 because my nephew dropped the carton of real eggs in the grass. If you’re going to color eggs, though, here are some ideas.I’ve learned to stop doing the plastic shrink wrapper egg decorations, particularly when young kids are involved. They are nearly impossible to have right, even for the steadiest and a lot patient hands. Instead, I follow plain food coloring.
The the next thing that I’ve learned in recent times would be to remove the space and put down plastic or newspaper. The smaller the kids, the bigger the mess usually is. The last thing you must do is have your belongings painted.
It’s also essential for anyone involved to use old clothes. Yes, the food coloring should wash out. Why risk it on your favorite shirt, though?
Finally, have a variety of eggs that can be evenly divided by the quantity of kids which are coloring them and ensure that you just, the adult, distribute them. I’ve seen more fights over who gets to color the last egg than I can count. Also, make sure each of the kids have their own coloring area, so that there isn’t any fights over so and so with all the color that somebody else wants. That way, the experience can be fun for all, not just a stressful ordeal.
