I used to love coloring Easter eggs being a kid and I still enjoy spending Easter with my nephews. So, I’ve picked up a few tips and tricks over the years that I feel like sharing. If you had trouble with your egg coloring in 2010, here are some ideas that can make next Easter easier.
First of all, filling plastic eggs with goodies now is easier and much more convenient. In fact, I had to make it happen this coming year because my nephew dropped the carton of real eggs on the ground. If you’re likely to color eggs, though, here are some tips.I’ve learned in order to avoid doing the plastic shrink wrapper egg decorations, specially when small kids are participating. They are nearly impossible to have right, even for the steadiest and quite a few patient hands. Instead, I stick to plain food coloring.
The next thing that I’ve learned over time would be to remove the space and place down plastic or newspaper. The smaller the children, the larger the mess usually is. The last thing you need to do is have your belongings painted.
It’s important too for all involved to put on old clothes. Yes, the meal coloring should wash out. Why risk it in your favorite shirt, though?
Finally, get a quantity of eggs that can be evenly divided by the amount of kids which can be coloring them and ensure that you, the adult, distribute them. I’ve seen more fights over who reaches color the last egg than I can count. Also, make certain each of the youngsters have their own coloring area, so that there’s no fights over so and thus with all the color that someone else wants. That way, the ability may be fun for anyone, not just a stressful ordeal.
